Mill Site Specific Plan Joint Study Session with the City Council and Planning Commission: September 2, 2009
Joint Study Session Materials
On Wednesday September 2, 2009, the Mill Site Specific Plan consultant team led by RRM Design Group attended a joint study session with the City Council and Planning Commission. The RRM team presented the recommended Illustrative Vision Plan based on feedback provided by the City Council, Planning Commission and community members at the June 24th joint study session. Specifically, RRM highlighted revisions to the proposed Southern District and the proposed land use framework, which outlines potential development scenarios and anticipated density/intensity of land uses. RRM also summarized comments received from a meeting with the California Coastal Commission on August 13, 2009.
Responses from the City Council and Planning Commission regarding revisions to the Illustrative Vision Plan and comments from the California Coastal Commission will inform the forthcoming draft of the Mill Site Specific Plan. (View the latest Conceptual Land Use Plan.)
